Winter sports fun in Vermont

The 2025 winter weekend was a great success. Registration for next year’s excursion will open in the fall.

What is the Winter Weekend?

A super-fun weekend of winter sports for fathers and sons at Wynnview in Vermont.

When Does It Take Place?

February 7-9, 2025 (arrive Friday night, depart Sunday morning).

Who can come?

Fathers and their 1st-8th grade sons.

What Happens During the Weekend?

  • Sledding

  • Skating

  • Swimming (indoors)

  • Basketball and other gym sports

  • Night-games

  • Mass on Saturday and Sunday

What is Wynnview?

Wynnview is an old farm located in Randolph, Vermont. There is a farmhouse and a barn which has been renovated to serve as additional housing for overnight activities.

What is the Cost of the Weekend?

$100 per father, $80 first son, $50 second son.

How Do You Get There?

Each father arranges his own transportation. Please aim to arrive before 10:00 on Friday evening.  If you are interested in car pooling with other families, please indicate so on the registration form.

What Should You Bring?

  • Snow sled(s)

  • Ice skates (if you have them)

  • Clothes for sledding, gym sports, swimming; also decent clothes for Mass

  • Sleeping bag

  • Flashlight

  • Overnight items (toiletries, towel, soap, pajamas, etc.)

We ask that electronic devices not be brought for entertainment purposes while at Wynnview.
